The Eleanor Mann School of Nursing at the University of Arkansas and Auburn University School of Nursing are seeking students, staff and faculty to participate in a research survey exploring knowledge and perceptions about breastfeeding in public.

The study will help determine potential barriers to exclusive breastfeeding in a university setting as well as knowledge of campus resources and breastfeeding attitudes. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate, regardless of experience or knowledge about breastfeeding.

Nursing professor Allison Scott is working with Honors College nursing student Jessica Weiss on the research project.

“We want to identify barriers to breastfeeding on campus and create focused support for breastfeeding mothers on a university campus,” Weiss said.

Participants are asked to complete the approximately 10-minute online survey and may enter a drawing to win for one of ten $50 Amazon gift cards.
