This summer, College of Education and Health Professions “fans” can show their support for WE CARE while also staying cool.
Faculty, staff, students, friends of the college and alumni are invited to snap photos holding the college’s new foldable fans and post them on social media to help spread the WE CARE message far and wide. The fans are small enough to take along on vacations, to conferences, study abroad experiences or anywhere fans would come in handy for staying cool. To join the Fan Club, tag the college (@uacoehp on Instagram and Facebook/College of Education and Health Professions on LinkedIn) and use the hashtag #WECAREfan.
To make this summer campaign even more fun, we’ll enter the names of our WE CARE Fans into a drawing. Prizes will be awarded for the best photos from the farthest away, highest elevation, hottest and coldest destinations, from the most historic site in Arkansas, with the best views of our campus, and the best photo with the most fans in the picture.
WE CARE stands for Wellness and Education Commitment to Arkansas Excellence. It underscores the college’s mission to care for communities in Arkansas and beyond by advancing impactful research, engaging in meaningful partnerships, and empowering caring professionals in education and health.
The new summer campaign officially kicked off on May 2 at the college’s end-of-year morning meeting, where faculty and staff grabbed fans on their way out. Last year’s “WE CARE Everywhere” campaign was a social media success, with the college’s signature scroll banners appearing worldwide. Not only did they travel to multiple countries, but they were also photographed with WE CARE supporters on tractors, atop mountains, in front of cathedrals, and along Disney World’s Main Street, to name a few.
Dean Kate Mamiseishvili is excited to see what this summer will bring and how far the word will travel about how much the college cares. “I can’t wait to see where these fans will show up,” she said. “Oh, the places they’ll go!”
