Happy New Year, all!
As we step into 2025, we’re celebrating the accomplishments that have brought us to this point and are excited for new successes to come — in our classrooms, research labs, and communities across the state.
It was a phenomenal 2024, and I look forward to continuing our WE CARE journey as we start fresh in the new year. I am grateful, optimistic, and devoted to supporting the work of our exceptional students, faculty, and staff.
I believe 2025 will bring new opportunities for growth, research, and collaboration. We look forward to hosting several signature events, such as the bi-annual Dean’s Executive Advisory Board meeting, Outstanding Alumni Awards reception, and Benefactors and Scholarship Recipients luncheon. Plans are also in the works for our spring and fall WE CARE-A-VAN tours, which help the college build new partnerships, strengthen relationships, and care for communities in Arkansas.
Focusing on the college’s three strategic plan priorities is at the heart of everything we do throughout the year. We remain committed to caring for communities in Arkansas and beyond by advancing impactful research, engaging in meaningful partnerships, and empowering caring professionals in education and health.
I’m excited to continue and expand the college’s phenomenal work.

One of the highlights of our 2024 was the time we spent with you, Tory, and lots of students at dinner and the Scholarship luncheon.
We had a brief call with Tory yesterday.
